Excelsior families and staff had a fun evening at the Latin Culture Night on October 4, which had been rescheduled due to Hurricane Helene.

What an incredible night at Latin Culture Family Night! It was so heartwarming to see our school community come together, with students from all grades joining in the fun. The dancers were amazing, the food was delicious, the music was fantastic and it was a blast learning more about different cultures. The piñata breaking was pure chaos (in the best way!) and always a hit – thank you, Mrs. Gaines, for creating those piñatas with your K-5 art classes! A huge shout-out to all of the volunteers who helped make this event a success, especially Ms. Jacky and Mary!
Excelsior PTSO is incredibly grateful to everyone who came out to support and help us celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month. Our goal is for everyone at our school to feel accepted, welcomed, and loved. Tonight, that sense of belonging was clear, and we couldn’t be more proud of our school community. Thank you for making it such a memorable evening!
