Here are the upcoming Driver Ed classes for Fall 2024 and the registration dates. Registration is through the DPS website.

You should log in promptly at 9:00 am on the day registration opens because of limited space.
Fall dates have been chosen for upcoming Driver Ed classes through Durham Public Schools:
September 9-27 AM (6:30am – 8:30 am) Registration August 24 @9:00 am
September 9-27 PM (5:00 pm – 7:00 pm) Registration August 24 @ 9:00 am
December 2 – 20 AM (6:30am – 8:30 am) Registration November 16 @9:00 am
December 2 – 20 PM (5:00 pm – 7:00 pm) Registration November 16 @9:00 am
New information: Students will need to pay for the class before the first day of class. Information regarding payment will be sent to the students after they are registered for class.
More information:
- Families can find information about the graduated license at NC DMV.
- The Driver’s Education Certificate the student receives from the approved driver education course never expires.
- The Driving Eligibility Certificate the student obtains after course completion from ECA’s Receptionist, Ms. Hernandez or Ms. Rivera, is good for only 30 days, and the parent/student should make an appointment with the DMV already within that time.
- Parents and/or students should bring the Driver Education Certificate with them to the school when requesting their Driving Eligibility Certificate so Ms. Hernandez can ensure the addresses written on both documents match.
