Simone Wilson’s Biography
I am from Brazil, and my first language is Portuguese. I have lived in the US for the last 29 years and am the proud mother of three adult children and the Vovo’ (grandma) of an 8 y.o. grandson. A fun fact about me is that I recently remarried and moved to the peaceful town of Roxboro, NC. Most of my years in the US were spent as a military wife and homemaker, while learning the American language and culture. My faith, love for knowledge, as well as the passion for all forms of visual arts, has been the anchor in my life. In 2018 I received a B.A. in Fine Arts with concentration in Textiles from East Carolina University. I have taught ands developed new curriculum for middle school visual arts since 2019. I am so excited to teach in the capacity of a high school Art teacher to the Excelsior Classical Academy Family!
