Scherry Harris’ Biography
Hi! My name is Scherry Harris. I am excited to be on my 5th year in the Flying Lions family. This upcoming school year will be my 20th year in education.
I received my BA in English from Hampton Institute/University Go Pirates! I graduated from The University of Phoenix with a MAED.
I am committed to providing your child with a loving and developmentally solid foundation for a lifetime of learning. I want to share my love of reading and writing with every student that I meet. I find joy in watching students learn new things, knowing that I had a hand in this experience is what makes education a fulfilling career.
Before embarking on this exciting profession in education I proudly served in the United States Air Force as a Combat Arms Instructor. While being stationed at Nellis AFB I met my wonderful husband William. We have two amazing children, Malena and Maceo who make us proud daily.
l am honored to be joining this amazing group of super dedicated educators.
