Sarah Eisenlohr’s Biography
I’m originally from outside Philadelphia and received my B.A. from Kenyon College in 2015. Upon graduating, I taught Latin to 7th and 8th graders in Phoenix, AZ for two years. In 2019, I received my M.A. in Latin Literature from UNC Chapel Hill. In 2022, I was given the Ceil W. Wooten Award for Graduate Student Excellence in Teaching. This past summer, I received my Ph. D. in Classical Philology at UNC Chapel Hill. I’ve taught various levels of Latin to middle school and undergraduate students, as well as Medical Etymology, Classical Mythology, and Sex and Gender in the Ancient Mediterranean. In my spare time I volunteer at the Animal Protection Society of Durham, crochet enormous blankets, and play the NYT crossword puzzle.
