Maria Foushee’s Biography
Originally from Barranquilla, Colombia, Maria Foushee has been teaching Spanish and ESL for many years in different countries. She has a passion for teaching, but mostly, for serving the community and helping others. Mrs. Foushee earned her Master’s in Education at the University of Washington and studied Psychology in Colombia and Human Services in Minnesota. She has been teaching her native language to a diverse population while fighting for Social Justice and Equity. She loves celebrating her students’ backgrounds and cultures, dancing, traveling, and gardening, while Mr. Foushee is baking goodies for teachers and students at her school.
