Alec Wallenius-Caldwell Biography
I was born and raised in the mountains of Asheville, North Carolina. I received my Bachelor’s of Science degree in Biology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. For the past few years I have enjoyed working with young children as an Early Childhood Educator in both Pittsburgh and Durham. This year I joined the Excelsior team in order to continue my journey as an educator. I look forward to creating an engaging and fun learning experience in my classroom. I love to travel, play sports, and cook delicious food with my wonderful wife. I love to spend quality time with my friends and family, including my exceptionally cute cat (Elle). Learning is a process I have always enjoyed. Helping others learn and understand new ideas is a beautiful way to connect. Excelsior will provide an opportunity to continue my love for learning while working with incredible educators to develop awesome humans and life long learners!
