Aimee Wells Biography
Aimee Wells graduated from Central College in Pella, Iowa with a BA in both Theater and Religion. Upon graduation, Aimee and her husband moved to Durham. Aimee grew up on a Christmas tree farm in rural Iowa where she spent much of her time roaming the woods, reading, picking wildflowers, gathering firewood, or hanging with her domesticated pet reindeer, Willow and Tundra. When she wasn’t on the farm, Aimee was usually tip-toeing backstage or trying on wigs at Iowa City Community Theater while her mother was in rehearsals. Her second home was Southeast Alaska, where she spent her childhood summers visiting family. As an adult, Aimee enjoys sewing, photography, trail running or hiking, and parenting her four very energetic and spirited children. Mrs. Wells is honored and thankful for the opportunity to teach K-5 Drama at ECA.
