Dena Moten’s Biography

Quoting Dr. Katie Cannon, Dr. Moten believes it is imperative to “do the work your soul must have.” For her, that work is educating young minds. She has served in education for over twenty years in both private and public organizations in administration, on accreditation boards, and as a lead classroom teacher. She received a Bachelor of Arts in English Education from North Carolina Central University, a Master of Divinity in Christian Counseling and a Doctorate in Education from Southeastern Seminary. During her free time, she enjoys spending time in the mountains with her husband Randolph. Dr. Moten is excited to join the ECA family!
