Kelly McArdle’s Biography
I received my B.A. in Classical Languages and Literature from Temple University in 2015 and a Post-Baccalaureate certificate in Classics from the University of Pennsylvania in 2016. In 2021, I received a Ph.D. in Classical Philology and a graduate certificate in Women’s and Gender Studies from UNC. I’ve taught Latin at both the high school and college levels and have also taught a variety of lecture courses on Classical Mythology, Women in Rome, and Women in Greek Art and Literature. I am excited to share my love of ancient languages with the students at Excelsior!
When I’m not making Latin super fun, I love taking hikes, playing with my dog and cat, and going to see live music.
