Jewel Fischer’s Biography
Hi there! My name is Jewel Fischer and I am excited to be the new Middle School Counselor at ECA.
I live in Hillsborough, NC with my husband, Stephen, our daughter, Ruby, and our dog, Beans. We are originally from Florida and we try to visit our family there as often as we can. When we are not traveling, we are spending time in the beautiful NC outdoors, frequenting local coffee shops or checking things off our to do list.
I received my Master’s degree in School Counseling from North Carolina Central University in 2020 and over the last 4 years, have served students in both the elementary and the middle school levels.
I am passionate about helping others and feel honored to have a career where I get to support students while they navigate the many social, emotional and academic challenges they will undoubtedly encounter during their time in school.
