The Theatre Department of Excelsior Classical Academy just completed their fall production of the play Still Life with Iris by Steven Dietz. Still Life with Iris is a quirky fantasy that is part drama, part adventure, and part coming-of-age story. It delves into perfectionism, identity, worth, memory, family, home, and abuse of power. It takes place in the Land of Nocturno and on Great Island in a galaxy far, far away.
The production had a lively cast, inventive costumes and sets, and wonderful lighting, music, and sound effects.
