Ms. Ava Howell is a graduate of Winston-Salem State University where she majored in Sociology and minored in Elementary Education. She has earned two master's degrees and has been teaching at Excelsior since 2018. Ms. Howell's goal is to connect and build relationships with each student while equipping them with tools for success. Ms. Howell does this by allowing students to collaborate with their cohort and focusing on each student's individual need(s).
