I am a graduate of Salem College with a BA in Psychology and minor in Sociology. I have been teaching in Special Education in North Carolina since 2003 and have been with ECA since 2019. I previously taught in Nash, Chatham, and Durham County Schools. I earned my National Board Certification as a Special Needs Specialist in 2009. I love working with students and helping them to discover their strengths! I strongly believe that every student is differently-abled and capable of success. I look forward to working with your student and your family! In addition to teaching at ECA, I am happily married and have two amazing sons. Our oldest son is a current 6th grader at ECA and our three year old is a future Flying Lion.
